Default Question about Harrah's Player cards

Good Evening Everyone, I was Browsing Harrah's Website and I logged in to my total rewards account online and looked at my offers and then i clicked on the reservations tab and found that i have alot more hotel offers then i thought. For example one of the offers i have is Jan-March for 3 MidWeek Nights in Vegas, but if i go to my reservation calendar screen and scan through all the hotels in Las Vegas i find that about 50-75 precent of all the days including weekends in 2008 for alot of the hotels say "Comp" . Even if i want a suite its at least half of dates of 2008 say "Comp", But i never received a mail offer for these days. only Jan-March. Is anyone familiar with this? I just cant seem right that i have all these Comped rooms.

Write back
Thanks!

I have Total Rewards as well and just recieved the hotel comped dates in the mail....but from Casino Windsor. I can use the card at Bally's, Caesars, Casino Windsor (only place I've gone that's involves Harrah's), Flamingo, Grand Casinos, Harrah's, Harveys, Horseshoe, Paris, Rio, Sheraton, and Showboat Casinos.....but I have 6 months until I turn 21 so Casino Windsor is the only place I can use it until then. I was wondering, since CW gives me free rooms everytime I go there, would all of the above casinos do the same for me since I have Total Rewards and they all accept the card when I turn 21??? I plan on going to Vegas immediately when I turn 21 and want free rooms if I can get them at those places.

I often find many nice offers on the web that I never recieved in the mail. I don't know if my mail carrier doesn't deliver them or if Harrahs just puts them on the web.

Is that in the My offers Section of the website or the hotel reservation page? Because everything on the my offers i receive in the mal, but if i click on reservation and look at the resevation calendar for all the hotels in Vegas and across the country for that matter i see alot more "comp" Days. even for suites and prime weekends such as superbowl weekend. I just dont want to book one of these only to have them look for my coupon that i dont have because like i said the only coupon i got for hotels is for midweek nights Janurary-March, but like i said there is ALOT more options then that on the reservation page.

I think you are misreading the site. You get,in your offers,an offer for X amount of comp days.On the calender, you'll see dates that say comps, and dates with a price($39,$79,ect).Your comp offers usually are only good the days listed that say comp.On the dates that have prices, those are the discounted rates offered you.
If I'm understanding you right.

Okay, I just checked, and I'm confused too.

I got a thing in the mail for two free days at the local Harrah's. So I went online and tried to book, like, 4 days. The price kicks out as 2 days "FREE", one day "COMP", and then one day at regular price.

I was then able to find one or two COMP nights at random harrah's properties around the country.

So there appears to be a distinction between a mail offer and a comp. However, I don't really know what the criteria is for a comp, and if that deducts from any sort of balance.

Right, If i go to Harrah's Website and Login to total rewards and click offers i have offers for "3 Free Nights Jan-March Mid-Week" but if i get out of that screen and click reservation button, and scan through all the vegas hotels I see about 50-75% of the days for the whole year of 2008 depending on the hotel i choose days say "comp" including weekends and some really prime dates (Such as superbowl weekend) and if i select the days that say comp and go to book it out it says Balance due Zero... I didnt book it out yet, but my only concern is when i go to the front desk, im afraid they will ask me for a coupon, and the only coupon I have is for Jan-March 3 mid week nights. And another thing, i dont have any "Free Dates" on my calendar just "Comp Dates" But like I said when i got to book it out it says balance due zero. There are also other dates i have reduced rates. I was going to ask about this yesterday at the casino, but I forgot.
