RFID chips comes to Foxwoods

No more ratholing chips at Foxwoods. It was announced Dec. 5, 2007 that Foxwoods will be using Progressive Gaming International's Chip Inventory System table-management software systems along with their Table iD products to ~250 table games. Plus, the casino plans to buy ~1 million RFID chips from Gaming Partners International. They hope to implement this by May 2008 (around the opening of MGM Grand there); which means they'll be phasing out their chips... i'd presume their 100,500,1k,5k chips will be involved; maybe their 25's too.

Is an MGM Grand opening in that area next May? Where exactly will it be? Or do you mean AC?
