Default 6 to 5 backlash!

I read on BJ-21 that there is starting to be 6 to 5 backlash as more people get educated on the games. The locals in vegas that visit the small casinos are putting less and less money into games that pay 6 to 5 and visting more casinos that pay 3 to 2! One way to help end the spread of 6 to 5 games is to talk to your table mates and make sure they don't also patronize 6 to 5 tables. Say some thing like this table has 4 times better odds than the table that pays 6 to 5 for a blackjack.

Default 6 to 5 backlash

I wonder if doubling on blackjack in a 6-to-5 blackjack game, on the proper count of course, is letting the house know you are an ap too easily.

Would they let you do it? Would you want to?

I guess just avoiding this game is the best route.

You could have fooled me. I was just in Vegas a couple of weeks ago, and there were plenty of 6 to 5 tables to be found. And plenty of people on these 6 to 5 tables.

But anybody betting big? A table full of $10 bettors isn't what they were hoping for.

Depending on what you are trying to do it was. A resurgence of pitch games came with the 6:5 games and frankly the 6:5 payoff - while not desireable - makes little difference to stonger techniques.

I didn't notice, as I didn't play. But a table full of $10 bettors at a 6:5 table is better for the casino than a table full of $25 bettors at a 3:2 table. Next time I'm in Vegas, I'm going to have to check that now. That's a good point.
