Default Craps: 10 worst bets do you agree?

I found this on youtube. They say pass line is one of the worst bets. Do you agree with them?

NO!

Very "funny" film they put together...but you have to realize that she and another guy do private craps lessons in Vegas, and their system is based on place bets and lots of pressure. So of course they're gonna down anything but the place bets.

By the way, I have to say that the worst bet on the table (where it even is on the table any more) is the Big 6/8. It may not have the worst house edge in the game, but for a dollar more you can place it and win an extra dollar on top of that.

good luck

Can't say that I did, but I have a verrry strong hunch that it is a heavy pressure system.

good luck

Ya, they full press a lot. Starts with $162 gets up $1,900 then a seven rolls and they end up losing $ on the roll.
They start off buying the 10 and 4 for $25 (plus $1 to buy) each, the 5 and 9 for $25 and the 6 and 8 for $30. This totals $162.

Oh ya, their free craps lessons are a suckers bet for sure. The player supplies the bankroll, and splits any winnings.

Their top ten bad craps bets: I put a * by the ones I agree with
field*
passline (I'll agree with this after the come out roll)
come
hardways/props*
not knowing how to bet your money*
odds (I have no clue what they were smoking when they said this, but I want some)
don't bets
taking money down
big 6/8*
Uneducated bet*

This is obviously a big hustle for these people.

To say "The pass line is a bad bet because it pays even money." is extremely ignorant. It's another to say, "We don't like the pass line because although it holds a very high player advantage on the come out roll, it puts the player at a big disadvantage after the point travels."

Hell, they don't even say why the odds bet is bad. I'd even go as far to say that taking massive amounts of odds isn't the silver bullet, but calling it a bad bet is just ridiculous!

good luck

they say don't take money down, does that mean until you reach your win goal?

I couldn't tell either. I would have to agree that taking your money down is somewhat of a waste...wouldn't go as far to say that it's a bad bet though.

good luck
