Default Black Bear Minnesota

Stopped by on a yearly trip to northern minnesota.

New larger casino has been built (compared to old casino....still small compared to mystic/ti) 12 Blackjack tables. Poker room had 4 or 6 tables...not sure, only one was playing. Tons of slots and VP, crowded machines at 2pm on a friday.

I saw 4 deck and 6 deck games. I saw no prices for min/max on table...and the colors of the chips did not help. Of course the 4 tables open were crowded so i didnt bother to sit or ask, as it doesnt seem worth the time to drive there from my house....and basically i just stopped to take a leak and was in a hurry.

Seems like the best use of Black Bear....taking a leak on it. err... in it.
I went up there a couple years ago for a night spent drinking with some friends, and vowed not to go back. I'd take Mystic over Black Bear any day

The chips were white and red, neon yellow, neon green, i had no idea what the denominations were. Maybe they could spend a couple $$$ from the profits and get a min/max sign at the table?

I stopped at blackbear about a month ago....again to take a leak. I didnt play any games, but wow....that place is HUGE compared to its pre remodel days. When I say huge, I mean 100000x the slots....still the same crappy 8 BJ tables. I think only 2 were open on a sunday afternoon.

Skip this place is still my recommendation
