Default Just curious...

I have been looking back at some of the posts on the forum and one about splitting 10's caught my attention. Why does splitting 10s or not splitting aces or doubling on 5 get have the potential to get rid of other players form the table?

The biggest reason is people believe that a bad player, especially when in the anchor's position, negatively influences the game. This of course isn't true and you'll find over the long run a bad player will hurt the table just as much as they help the table.
