This is a strange release - it looks like one of Paul's campaign PR agencies has turned on him. A set-up, perhaps? zg

Ron Paul Campaign hires California PR Firm, KST Communications,
to Launch Attacks Against John McCain
For Immediate Release
OROVILLE, Calif./EWORLDWIRE/Feb. 7, 2008 --- The Ron Paul 2008 Campaign hired California PR Firm KST Communications to issue claims against John McCain and make it look like the attacks were initiated from various veterans organizations, with the intent of remaining unassociated with the Ron Paul 2008 Campaign.
A press release was issued on Jan 18, 2008 in regards to the Documentary "Missing Presumed Dead" which points the finger directly at McCain for blocking POW investigations.
KST Communications did initially send out the press release, and a few days later was ordered by the Ron Paul 2008 Campaign to start hammering the press with a barrage of press releases from various veterans organizations that were Anti-McCain - with or without their consent - to stop John McCain from running away with the nomination.
Today the Ron Paul 2008 Campaign and Ron Paul claim to know nothing about the documentary or the Anti-McCain information portrayed in the documentary. This footage is the same documentary that Ron Paul sent a copy to all members of the House and Senate in November, 2005. "Ron Paul has said that he is not interested in attacking other candidates, yet he is interested in having third parties do the dirty work for him so that he can keep his hands clean," said Kara Topolsky of KST Communications.
All documents including emails will be released to the media for clarification purposes. Kara Topolsky can be reached at (530) 315-9078.

Election Fraud Trumps Paul in NY - A New York State of Election Fraud for Ron Paul
by Gigi Bowman
http://www.opednews.com
It's not hard to live in a New York State of Election Fraud when the candidate whom you are campaigning for is Ron Paul. It's not that hard for someone to start an ugly rumor, "Ron Paul has dropped out of the race" and get away with it on Primary Day in New York when you have the likes of the New York Times, New York Newsday, the New York Post, the Daily News and the Wall Street Journal ignoring your candidate as if he did not exist. When you have little choice on mainstream news radio and WABC, home of the Conservative Demi-Gods, Sean Hannity, Rush Limbaugh, Mark Levin, Laura Ingram, et al, are ignoring your choice of Presidential candidate as if he weren't even running for President. When you have your favorite cable news channels CNN, MSNBC, FOX News, ABC, CBS or C-Span skipping over your choice of candidate during debates, polls, and even when showing primary result facts by skipping over his face and percentage in favor of the next guy running behind him. It's not hard to believe when you have High School history teachers leaving his face off the list of Presidential candidates along with the delegates they have won thus far (http://www.opednews.com/articles/ope...l_running_.htm ). So no, it is not hard to get away with a rumor and a lie and it did not come as too much of a shock when I got a phone call from one of my meet-up members, Ron Paul delegate Gabe Razzano, that his 76 year old mother called him from her polling place at Giblyn School in Freeport, Long Island to let him know that she could not vote for her choice of candidate, Ron Paul, because she was told he had dropped out of the race.

Garbage! Ron Paul doesn't have it in him to pull something like this. I don't even view him as a Presidential hopeful; he's more a concerned citizen using the run for nomination as a platform from which to educate those with ears to hear. He's the match; the flame that will ignite the country is yet to come!
