Exclusive! The FBI Deputizes Business

Today, more than 23,000 representatives of private industry are working quietly with the FBI
and the Department of Homeland Security. The members of this rapidly growing group, called InfraGard,
receive secret warnings of terrorist threats before the public does—and, at least on one occasion,
before elected officials. In return, they provide information to the government, which alarms the ACLU.

But there may be more to it than that. One business executive, who showed me his InfraGard card,
told me they have permission to “shoot to kill” in the event of martial law. InfraGard is “a child of the FBI,”
says Michael Hershman, the chairman of the advisory board of the InfraGard National Members Alliance
and CEO of the Fairfax Group, an international consulting firm.

I don't see why you Americans are worried. You all have guns, lots and lots of guns. When the shooting starts at least you will be able to shoot back. We up here in Canada are F*ked. They can kill us like helpless baby seals.

I must've received the wrong ID card, since mine doesn't say a damn thing about martial law, any authority I have under martial law, or anything else. All mine has is a bunch of phone numbers to call if I can't remember my forum password.

Oh, and "Businesses" aren't deputized. Neither are InfraGard members. Nobody is deputized, you ignoramic imibicile. If you bothered to actually READ the InfraGard website like you claim to have, you would know exactly what their mission is.

Then again, you're a supposed 'journalist', which means you don't have to do that, right? You just write whatever comes to mind and expect people to believe you. And based on the comments of the brain-dead posters, they (with few exception) believed everything you said.
