Default Please help with betting

Could somebody tell me if betting spread 1 to 10 ($5 to $50 :TC<=1-$5,TC2-$15,$26,$37,$50 ) is enough to beat shoe game. I usually play 8D,S17,DAS,Late surrender, penetration 67%-80%). I use Hi-lo + Indexes(-1 to +6) from Professional Blackjak ( Wong's book). Despite of my technique, I lost most of my bankroll.I don't have any sim program and I am not sure what should I improve to start winning. Mostly I can not leave table at negative counts, because I would not find empty space for rest of the night.I can not find different casino, because there is no other in my area.Thank you very much for your help.

Its NOT quite enough UNLESS you exit (bet 0) at -2 or less.
Now, since your BR is compromised, bet like this and go for broke -

+2 = $10
+4 = $15+$15
+5 = $20+$20

Since you can't move immediately to another table, use any excuse you can to avoid betting at -1 or lower including cell calls, bathroom breaks, etc. Good luck! zg

Default Betting

I just both Blackjack 6-7-8 and trying to run some simulation. It seems that this program is very confusing for me. If I want change same parametr I have to open many pages and it does not change it many times anywhere. If it start simulate, the numbers are very different from books I recently read. Has anybody same experience with this program? How much would be average gain per hour 8decks,DA2,DAS,Late Surrender,Hi-lo(variation -1 to +6), 75% penetration, betting spread for expampl 1 to 10 ($5 to 50) or 1 to 16 ($5 to 80).This program says $5 for spread 1 to 10 and $7 for 1 to 16. I though that it is supose to be little bit more. Are this numbers right?

The numbers sound right for "play all counts". zg

Thank you for fast answer. I have to start traveling and find tables with better conditions. 5 dollars per hour is too little and not worth play at casino cruises. 3 hours plaiyng takes me extra 3,5 hours traveling and waiting. I have spent 4 moths reading books and practising counting and now I wish I could win something. I'll try Vegas soon. Just hope I'll be succesfull.

Those conditions are OK... IF you can limit your minus count exposure. The benchmark playability guideline is +2u per 100 hands. If you minimize your minus count exposure you can get the +2u with a smaller spread (max-bet 2hands of 4u). zg

Where you have been playing, if you are betting 1 hand won't they let you go to 2 hands in mid shoe? zg?

Default Wonging in out

Keep in mind that zengrifter's comments are on the mark. The problem is that pit bosses have been trained to look for so-called people coming in and out of shoes. You can only go to the bathroom and answer cell calls so many times. Plus you mentioned that you do not have many casinos around you. YOU WILL BE FLAGGED AS A COUNTER (between 1-10 spread and jumping in and out of shoes)! It is just a matter of time.

Unfortunately, the pit critters are not as oblvious as they are described in some books...

I live in south and I play at cruises. Mostly at one cruise, otherwise I have to travel a couple of hours. I tried play two hands at very positive count, there was not any problem, but I was watched by pit boss couple of times.Til now he never said to me anything. I try look like a drunk, be happy or angry.
I don't know if camuflage works. Main bankroll is smaller than at the beginning, so I think I may look more like a gambler. I hope I can practise here for a while and not beeing bared. I definitely want to go samewhere where is more casinos, but the travel expensive are huge. Right know I am trying figured out how to keep travel expensive at minimum. Next week I am planning drive to Mississsippi and Luisiana for 5 days and try luck.
