Match the Dealer side bet

Im all for taking advantage of a side bet if i can and am noticing that the match the dealer side bet is becoming pretty popular at leats in ac. Im pretty sure this has got to be easily beaten by any counting system since it keeps tracks of groups of cards and as any group begins to have more signifigance it becomes more likely to see two of the same card in the group of signifigance, so i theorise that there is a positive count and a negetive count at which this bet becomes favorable, I dont have fancy software to figure this out, and im sure its already been figured out anyways. So whats the scoop on this side bet.

Also of relevanc i know it is offered at Trump taj AC, Hilton AC, And Trump Marina AC and a few other ones i may have seen it at but those three i know for sure have it.

I don't remember the exact number, but it takes a pretty insane count before this side bet goes +EV for the player. I think it was something on the order of TC>=+13 or TC<=-13 using HiLo. The bet may be beatable with certain shuffle tracking techniques, but it's not something I've ever tried.

I can't advise either but I do recall an article a while back about the match the dealer side bet, and I have a strange recollection of the count having to be at least +10.

The +13 rule would make better sense though - there's a 1 in 13 chance of getting a card to match the value, a 1 in 26 chance for it to be the same colour, a 1 in 52 chance for an exact match.

Even as a counter, I tend to stay clear of side bets - but personal choice.

offered at borgata as well in AC. i think its just becoming a popular money-making sidebet for casinos to have down there. I asked a while back about the count needed to get +EV, because if it ever reached that, i would definitely play it - yes i know it increases std deviation, but PCs also realize that counters never really play the standard side bet spots, so it would be some good cover if given the opporunity. so if anyone knows the index for +EV for zen or AO2 counts, please let me know! one more index number cant hurt to memorize...
