Spitzer Is Linked to Prostitution Ring

ALBANY - Gov. Eliot Spitzer has been caught on a federal wiretap arranging to meet with a high-priced prostitute at a Washington hotel last month, according to a person briefed on the federal investigation.

An affidavit in the federal investigation into a prostitution ring said that a wiretap recording captured a man identified as Client 9 on a telephone call confirming plans to have a woman travel from New York to Washington, where he had reserved a hotel room. The person briefed on the case identified Mr. Spitzer as Client 9.

Mr. Spitzer today made a brief public appearance during which he apologized for his behavior, and described it as a “private matter.”

Even before this,I've been very disappointed with him as the Gov.
He came to office on a reformer platform and has failed to do much.What sucks is that his Lt Gov. is a political hack and if he ends up as the Gov,NY State is in for some real problems.Looks like the door is re-opening for Americas Mayor.

Well, at least he likes girls, girls of legal age, too, I think. I guess even Democrats can be hypocrites, but I was beginning to doubt it after listening to Irish for so long. Of course, he will point out that this is just one incident, which is nothing against the landslide of Republican improprieties. I still contend that humans being humans, Democrats are simply a whole lot better at hiding their sexual escapades. lol That should get him going.
