Default why you should play slot machines....

grinding away at the blackjack table got you down?
take a break, play some penny slots for a short while.
you might win a million dollars.
then after you win the million go back to the grind....
you deserve a break today

Not to mention that casinos love slot players. A quarter slot player gets comps the $25 BJ player can only dream of.Even if you don't use a player card when playing BJ,run some money thru a slot using your card.

No, they don't. They know the difference, as you can't cash out free slot dollars, either.

That depends. Harrahs sometimes sends bounceback cash that you need to put into the machine, but you can cash out the whole amount. Other times, you need to play it out.

A friend of my is a heavy hitter in slots. While he was playing he was approached by a hostess and given VIp treatment and promised a free room anytime he is playing in their casino.
Looks like the slots machines must have some alert mechanism for heavy hitters. So I dont think all slot players are treated equally. And the penny slot players are not likely to get much Comps with the smart slot machines nowadays.

There very may well be a huge difference how slot players are treated in Asia and in the USofA,but the vast majority of the posters here play in American casinos.I don't try to offer advice on getting comps in Asian or European casinos,as I have no experiance in them.

Default big shot play

My friend is a very prolific slot player, fiftey cent, dollar and five dollar slots are his genre. He is comped very well and has obtained status that I would only dream about. He is able to cash back since our casino we visit has that option and his overall rating is excellent. I myself play vidio poker and have good sucess. I do it more for a mental break and cover on my bj game. I don't advocate slot play and work hard to steer friends to better games but they don't want to think about gambling and that's the purpose of slots. blackchipjim
