Neither one shows much on card counting. I voted for 21, Purley as an entertainment value. I though is had some funny stuff in it that Last Casino did not. Pugi

i finally saw the last casino yesterday, its was better in the terms hollywood not getting in the way. But theatrics 21 was better, but not a fan of the whitewashing.

While both movies are not very realistic to CC....I found "21" to be much more entertaining. Last Casino was pretty dull and had a lot of dead spots that had me thinking....."Let's get on with it".

At least LC talked about TC conversion where 21 didn't even mention it. Also LC showed a lot of the bad variance that goes along with CC as the Asian kid was getting a lot of stiffs and busting, even during some good counts. In 21 - It seemed they won every hand during a plus shoe and they only lost when they "let emotion get in the way" and played into neg counts. The girl in LC was the smartest of them all yet they had her posed as the hooker? She should have been the one playing and making the decisions. She was also the least "mental" of the three.

I found it interesting that LC focused on the professor as a degenerate gambler rather than a true professional. The team sucked because the leadership sucked.

RE: The "martingale scene" - I would never try to CC in an illegal, underground, after-hours joint. There seems there is no upside. If you get caught in here you are not getting your money and if you are ever allowed to leave it would likely be with 2 broken arms or legs. At least there are laws that the casino has to follow - Even if caught CC/AP'ing you are in no real danger.

they were both ok ,since i like the topic . i voted for the last casino because it was more realistic .if the best of both were put together then i would like it even better. katherine is hot!!!watching it in low low def made the movie less enjoyable.the chinese guy was funny.

This is a good deal. $10,000*31 - $300,000*1 = $10,000.

I voted for the last casino although I still loved the film 21, the last casino I think goes into card counting a little bit more and I agree with sagefr0g, Katherine Isabell is incredibly hot but also is the Asian lass on 21.

The only criticism for the last casino is when they use Martingale and completely abandon card counting for their big win at the end. :/

That is why it is the last casino. They got up in the morning and started their martingale again and lost it all. The things that end up on the cutting room floor.
