Default Forcing the house

OK, so I have been doing well on the card counting thing and I actually am having some fun with this. I am playing a computer program and I dont know if I am doing the the "normal" way but I have been always ending "up". So tell me, when the card count is - and lets say the house is sitting on a 13 and I am sitting on say a 15 I have been holding (the computer program says, "you should have hit on that") however, my theory is..let the house bust cuz if I am in the - and lets say a high - then most likely the house will turn over a face or 10 or ace...does this sound about right? I am ending up actually finding that this works for me under certain situations...please help..I now know enough to be dangerous...to myself ha ha ha.

The program tells you to hit a 15 vs. 13? Is it double exposure or something? How can the dealer show 13 while you are playing your hand?
