Default good experience at the casino

alright last night i went to Harrahs casino in council bluffs, iowa.
this would be my second time playing blackjack.
table min $3-$500
dealer hits soft 17
DAS
6 decks
using the KO count
played about 6 shoes, kept count pretty good but sometimes i would just spazz out and forget the count(due to conversating with others) than strictly play BS. bought in for $60 cash out with $130(2 1/2 hrs of play) spread at most 1-3 units.

i thought it was a good experience.
but there was this younger fellow about my age (21) playing on 5th base
dealer showing 3
he had a hard 15 and hit guy afer him got mad i forget what hand he had but he bust and LITERALLY PICKED A $5 CHIP FROM THAT KID'S STACK AND PLACE it on HIS OWN. i was gonna say something but it wasnt my business. i just got really upset at this guy for doing that. anyone come across guys like this in the field? he also gave an older gentleman **** for not playing accordingly to BS and started saying remarks to him. i was thinking just shut and go elsewhere or let others enjoy themselves. anyone run into these type of blackjack nazis?

I would have told the thief to put the ****ing chip back or I will break his fingers. I've done it before. You don't want activity like that going on at the table while you are counting because it draws attention to the table and you don't have to tolerate a crook attracting the attentions of surveillance to your general area.

I haven't seen anyone take chips from another player's stack before, but if you play in AC, you'll see some verbal abuse on a daily basis.

Welcome to this board. I see you are new here.

This is why BJ is not for the regular guy. These altercations and heated arguements goes on all the time between players. Something like this or other will happen to you before you know it.

said you would break his fingers or broken someone fingers at the blackjacktable?

i would be pretty pissed off if i were to see someone steal a chip or chips from another player and if it were my chip taken the "law" into my own "hands". people like this should be s*** kicked in the casino back ally. reminds me of the movie "casino" for how to deal with people like this.

I wouldn't have touched the guy. But I sure as **** would have called security and had him arrested. He'd have gotten at least a few days in jail, where hopefully he'd be raped.

I hate people like that, honestly what other people do could affect your cards either way and people just tend to remember the negative times and not the times when the non-bs player "saved the table". I was in AC this weekend and some foreign lady sat down next to me and was mumbling in Russian about the guy at 3rd base for not playing BS. The 3rd base guy kind of figured out that this lady was scrutinizing his every move and at one point said "I play how I want, if people want to b*tch about it they can leave, I don't give a f***" I thought that was pretty funny.

No, blackjack is for regular folks...it's the dickheads that can't keep their cool or decide they want to dictate what every other player does that need to get out of the game.

When it comes down to it, 99% of the people playing are making the casino money. Those that wish to play with an advantage need to focus out those dicks, do their thing, and enjoy doing it. If you can't accomplish that, then THAT's when you aren't cut out for the game.

good luck

PS - Not picking on your thought Mr. T, it just inspired some views of my own.
