Not been there in 10 months but...

Earth casino:
6D, S17, DAS, LS, poor penetration
Many of the tables have the Match The Dealer side bet with a $1 minimum but since you don't have to take it, you can ignore it.

Sky casino:
6D, 8D and 4D CSM, same rules, no Match The Dealer tables

During the day most Match The Dealer tables have $5 minimums but these go up to at least $15 and maybe higher (possibly even $25) on weekend nights. The other tables have between $10 and $25 minimums, and on weekend nights they are all $25. Table Max = $1,000.

Both casinos have high roller sections with $50 minimums. Don't know the maximums for those tables.

I am only there on friday/saturday/sundays.
Mostly 6/8D, nothing smaller.
Friday/Saturday nights are all $25+... maybe one or two $15 but you'll never get a seat at those

Black chip tables in the asian secion almost always have CSMs
the ones that dont have "eyes"

Not to be sexist, but most of the female bit bosses are pretty clueless that I've encountered. I made a few big bets one time (3) on my way out of the casino... just sat down for three hands just using BS, and won all three, and asked to color up. I got quite the evil eye after that one, but what are ya gonna do. There are so many people there that as long as you're not using large spreads they have too many degenerates to watch to give you a hard time.

relax and play basic stragedy

Hi , just signed in to blackjack-info. I go to AC a lot , although I have learned the basic of card counting, I can not say it has helped a lot in my winning or losing. gives me a head ace trying to keep count. Just when I think the count is in my favor, the dealer pulls my cards and everyone is blaming me for the dealers 5 card 21. I use the 1 & 3 betting system and always bet my max when the pit boss is looking . ( For better comps). So far has worked good , but no matter what, the casino will always have a % .44 without counting. POGO

This has nothing to do with Mohegan Sun...please try to understand the concept of message board threads. Nothing personal.

good luck

yea im looking for information on heat levels at the sun
The heat has been a bit higher there from what I noticed my last time there. If you are playing lower stakes and have never been there before I wouldn't worry about a thing. But I will have to admit that a member of my team got backed off there from their facial recognition surveillance. He didn't play 1 hand and was backed off while backcounting. That should not be a problem for you, but it should be noted for others who have played there with previous backoffs.

The Sky has an area with 6d 25$m/1000-5000max no mid shoe. Penetration is bad some dealers take a full 2d - 2 1/2 cut off but keep your eyes open for better.
Only 1 time in the past 6 visits did we leave up, must be in my big downswing period.
Back count first. I found 4 out of 5 tables went deep negative on 3 seperate weekend visits.
Weekends: 10-15$ until 10-11am, then most are 25.00+ until 3-4am.

The tables by the sky valet or parking garage fill up first and many players in this area do not have an idea how to play at all. Watch all the 15 vs 4,5,6 taking hits. Standing on A2-A4 etc..

Very disheartening when you have a good run going and betting at 4-6 units.
(other areas are not open yet at 10am)
This weekend had my first encounter with some heat. Just changed to Revere APC when the counts fell into indices variations had some strange looks from players, dealer, and pit boss when I made some real oddball pulls and won.

I think I have to back off a bit, maybe play dumb and I'll win like some of the others. Can't hurt my losing streak.
