The heat has been a bit higher there from what I noticed my last time there. If you are playing lower stakes and have never been there before I wouldn't worry about a thing. But I will have to admit that a member of my team got backed off there from their facial recognition surveillance. He didn't play 1 hand and was backed off while backcounting. That should not be a problem for you, but it should be noted for others who have played there with previous backoffs.
The Sky has an area with 6d 25$m/1000-5000max no mid shoe. Penetration is bad some dealers take a full 2d - 2 1/2 cut off but keep your eyes open for better.
Only 1 time in the past 6 visits did we leave up, must be in my big downswing period.
Back count first. I found 4 out of 5 tables went deep negative on 3 seperate weekend visits.
Weekends: 10-15$ until 10-11am, then most are 25.00+ until 3-4am.
The tables by the sky valet or parking garage fill up first and many players in this area do not have an idea how to play at all. Watch all the 15 vs 4,5,6 taking hits. Standing on A2-A4 etc..
Very disheartening when you have a good run going and betting at 4-6 units.
(other areas are not open yet at 10am)
This weekend had my first encounter with some heat. Just changed to Revere APC when the counts fell into indices variations had some strange looks from players, dealer, and pit boss when I made some real oddball pulls and won.
I think I have to back off a bit, maybe play dumb and I'll win like some of the others. Can't hurt my losing streak.
