The Color of Blackjack
by Daniel Dravot
This book is intended for players who use the simple but powerful KO card counting system first described by its creators in their book Knock Out Blackjack. KO is an
unbalanced count, and although very powerful it does trade some
profitability for simplicity by eliminating the "true count conversion".
Dravot's book The Color of Blackjack attempts to regain some of that
extra profitability by showing you a practical and simple way to utilize the ideas of true-counting KO. If you use KO, I think this is a must-read.
Daniel Dravot is a full-time professional blackjack player, making his living
on the road beating the games. This small book also contains a brief chapter entitled "What Pros Know", where you'll find some excellent
advice about managing to win the money and still avoiding back-offs.
