im reading blackjack blueprint and Rick Blaine explains two betting strategys and im wondering what the ROR is for each and how effective they are so if your playing hi lo in 6 deck games and get your max bet by dividing your bankroll by 100 these are the betting strategys he says...

o ight thx and in blackjack blueprint Rick Blaine writes about optimal betting but i dont really understand it all the way if playing hi lo in 6 deck games he says to get the betting unit by dividing the bankroll by 100 to get the max bet because your bankroll should have 100 max bets...

so is using this strategy only good if you have a big bankroll ? and what betting strategy do you use and find best?

lol thx but what if i divide by bankroll by 500 to get my betting unit and then when im playing i would take the true count and subtract the offest which = 1 and then multiply that number by the unit. like say i have a $50,000 bankroll i would divide it by $500 and get $100 as my betting...

So if i used that betting strategy i would have a 13.5% chance of losing my bankroll ? and if so how could i make the risk less like 5%

No my bad lol i meant that the max bet should be AT LEAST 4x the betting unit and if i do all of what i said including readjusting my bankroll when needed like if i lose half my bankroll or double it or w.e would that be an effective betting strategy and have little risk?

Would it be smart to have 1/1000 of your bankroll as a unit and then bet it in multiples of the betting unit according to the count while raising and lowering the betting unit as the bankroll changes and having a max bet of at least 4x the betting unit.

Andy Bloch says in order to get your unit to divide your bankroll by 1000 and Semyon Dukach says 1/200 of your bankroll should be your unit. which one's better to use in order to maximize winnings and minimize the risk
