How much edge for i lose when i spread 1-4 vs 1-5 DD, Standard Vegas rules

This is getting hard to win I was in Vegas last weekend...Downtown...I have been away for over six months...6/5 EVERYWHERE...NO playing an extra hand when you get a card count...I.E.---No mid round entry...But the worst was---I was not allowed to bet more than three times the previous...

Got backed off for winning too much at El Cortez

Me, too Last fall I was at the El Cortez, and was playing SD...Spread from 10 to 50 (I did three spots) on a plus 6 count...Hit all three and was very pleased with myself...Less than three hands later, these two guys appeared out of nowhere (Mr. Spock couldn't have beamed there...

Advantages of playing one on one with the dealer

How many Blackjacks can there be in 1000 hands? Shadroch and Renzy...After 1000 hands, playing the dealer heads up, I can expect 47 BJs (every 21-22 hands)...If there are four more players sitting in, you're both saying they can expect the same results--but that means there would have to be...

Advantages of playing one on one with the dealer

1000 hands I'm not sure I follow you...Remember-I was using 1000 dealt hands for my analysis...If, over the course of that, let's say there should be "X" number of Blackjacks, but now you are sharing them with other players...Nobody at the table is getting 20% less hands...(No time limit on...

Advantages of playing one on one with the dealer

Throwing out variance and sticking to the long term...Playing head to head...The dealer and the player are going to get two cards apiece to start the hand... Over the course of 1000 hands, there is going to be "X' number of Blackjacks dealt-and with only two players getting them, eventually they...

    Card counting, People, and Dealer

Cp If I'm playing a DD game, playing hi-lo, and after three hands I got plus 6--is the true count really plus three?...it would be plus 6 in a SD, but it can't be the same if less than a quarter of the cards have been dealt with two decks. A four deck game I'm thinking it's almost an even count...

    Card counting, People, and Dealer

Woof woof I've always done better (it seems) when I play the dealer one on one...I'd like to hear some of the gurus' opines on this...My personal best (worst-really) is... I lost 28 hands in a row---lost 10 in a row, went to another table-lost 10 in a row, went to another table-after losing 8...

    El Cortez

:laugh:I was playing in the El Cortez late last summer, single deck game-$10 units...first hand after the shuffle-a plus 5 count...bet $50 on two more circles on the next deal and got two twenties and a 19...won all three hands...about two hands later--two guys from out of nowhere are...
