What's the real deal at Presque Isle Downs Erie PA ?

So I've read all kinds of conflicting reports about conditions there since they opened their tables last month. Does anyone have the straight goods on number of Shoe tables (as opposed to CSM), and how deep they are cutting? I'm thinking of planning a Road Trip there from Toronto but would...

    Las Vegas 3:2?

I assumed he was talking about single deck, since 3-2 SD is indeed a very rare game as someone pointed out, and can be found in only a few places. Shoe games are almost always 3-2, and $5 games are plentiful on Fremont and many strip places, depending on time of day. FrankD

    Best Ontario casino's?

no suprise... Not surprising at all since about 99% of players are ploppy basic strategy players at best. We tend to forget that. For them it really doesnt matter whether the tables are ASM, CSM, or hand shuffled. None of them is 'beatable' in the long run for them. FrankD

    Raising After A Loss?

i respectfully disagree with Ian Anderson on this one... I read "Burning The Tables" from cover to cover some time ago, and use many of his techniques of cover play. This advice though, I don't happen to agree with. I always increase after a loss, if the TC has notched up appropriately. It...

Blue Heron Casino, Port Perry, Ontario

Very strange....I assume then your ID was checked at the door... you'd figure if something was fishy about your ID, they would have not let you in at all. I have been playing there for 5 years, and never saw anyone turfed....well maybe once or twice they put someone in a cab for being drunk or...

Blue Heron Casino, Port Perry, Ontario

So what did you do to get "kicked out"? Particularly since you were losing, I can't imagine any reason to get the boot there unless being very drunk or very abusive. And if you were drunk, they would make sure you were not driving.... they are very careful about that kind of stuff... FD

    Seneca Niagara

I made my first trip to Seneca Allegany (Salamanca) a week ago, for a 2 night stay. It's a smaller joint than Seneca Niagara... the conditions were OK and there were just enough open tables with $10-$15 minimum. I was down large after the first day, and clawed my way back to a small profit by...

Blue Heron Casino, Port Perry, Ontario

My point was the same as yours. I know very well how this works. I have been playing about 500 hours per year, for 5 years. Even over an entire year of play, one cannot make any conclusions about any specific casino, or even be guaranteed a positive result. I will tell you that over 5 years...

Blue Heron Casino, Port Perry, Ontario

I play at Great Blue Heron weekly and it's above board. I have been there many times when they put new cards into play , and they fan all 6 or 8 decks out in plain view for all to see. Of course I have had sessions also there where I wondered whether things were 'normal'...like losing $2K or...

Casino de Charlevoix - who has been there?

Hey all.... has anyone here actually played at Casino de Charlevoix at the Manoir Richelieu? I am thinking of a Vacation/Blackjack trip there for a few days but want to check on the Blackjack conditions...I will assume the penetration and rules are same as other Quebec casinos.. and they have...
