I'm new here and pretty much an amateur at counting. I am using the hi lo count and illustrious 18 indexes. I am guessing that the illustrious 18 was developed based on vegas strip rules. I am playing european no peek blackjack. Does this change things somewhat? Or in other words...
one question. In european blackjack, its no peek. So if the dealer gets BJ you lose bets from the splits and doubles. On such tables I dont think splitting 8s vs A is a good idea. Basic strategy says not to split.
