I'm confused by your comment, Don. Both counts above (KO with and without A2) were presumably analyzed separately as above, and Burnitdown is proposing, in effect, using each count separately for playing and betting (and insurance) decisions. Why wouldn't this result in the BC of the betting...

I usually point out that it's my money in the circle, and if they want to play it their way, they can buy my hand and make it their money in the circle. Usually it shuts them up, and sometimes I get to sell off lots of crappy hands, which is awesome.

I've been there a couple of times since 2021 and it wasn't bad at all, at least from what I saw (strip and downtown). I think they've been ramping prices up a lot now that COVID is over, which will keep out a lot of the riffraff.

Don't get a player's card. A few small tips: * Short sessions (2 hours ok, 1 hour better) * leave after your high bets come out (end of shoe or when count drops). Don't let them see you drop your bet back down. * look natural, unmemorable * backcount if you can What is your spread?

Huh, I wasn't aware they went to DD there and still have 3:2. CBJN has the house edge at 0.53, not great but playable if pen is good. Pretty much the same as the H17 shoe games all over Vegas. (Compared to 0.40 for DAS)

I think there were $25 tables at Cosmo sometimes, I didn't experience heat there. You'll have a lot more options at $50 tables if you can stomach it. But still, who cares if you get backed off their crappy games anyway. Go down the street.

It's the difference between something being theoretically possible, and actually practical/achievable. Your car dashboard could be reprogrammed to play DOOM, but it's rather difficult and isn't something that can be done without extremely specialized skills. Similarly, anything with a...
