Bad Pit Boss OK...these are great stories. The worst player I saw had $25K in pink chips in front of him, and was playing solo on a $100 table with a very young Oriental girl dealing. This pit boss was watching every move. The guy was playing 3 hands of $600 each. Double deck...dealt face...

Sandia Sandia doesn't offer good rules, double decks, or tournaments because, in their words, "We don't have to ." People play their shoes and CSM's there because it is the "nicest" casino in Albuquerque. Well, I don't play there ever. Still, Route 66 is best all around.:p

Family Blackjack We used to play (family of four) where if you got a blackjack, you then became dealer and collected and paid out as a dealer would. If you ran out of chips, you were out. Whoever had the most chips when an alarm (previously set...no clock visible) went off won the pot.:p

Carnival Cruises The last place I saw this (and a great version of "fun" 21) was on two different Carnival Cruise ships. I am going on another one next month...I'll see if they still have it.:p

BS for DE If you want basic strategy for double exposure, look it up in wizardofodds.com. I used it last year for a 6-month promotion a local casino had. Hard to do, but profitable.:p

Route 66 Albuquerque I've been playing alot at the Route 66 Casino on I40 west of town. Every day they have at least one double deck open $5-$500, I believe. On most nights, they open a second table and on weekends, 4-5 DD's are open. Best rules I've seen. At Isleta you can only split once...

Going on Carnival next week I am going on the UBT cruise on Valor next week (my husband won us an entry). We were on Fantasy a couple of months ago and last summer on a TBJPA cruise. The "tournament" in the casino is---just go for it---seven hands, highest 7 scores make a final table, then...

Santa Ana I haven't been to Santa Ana in a while. They took away their blackjack tournaments then took away their double decks. I think they only have 4-deck shoes, but I'm not sure. :cat:

Fantasy 21 We just went on a (blackjack tournament) Carnival cruise recently on the Fantasy. There was one table called Fantasy 21 (for the name of the ship?). There were 8 decks with all queens removed. You could double on any amount of cards (five twos...double!). There was EARLY surrender...

New Mexico Route 66 did just open up its hotel. It looks very nice. The games on weekends are that there are TONS of double deck as low as $5 min. Good odds. Don't know about the kid area--my kids are too old. The "KKX" nightclub has a waiting line of 50-100 people for some unknown reason...
