What is THE book to get if youre looking to get one?

I was wondering what the go is down here since we generally dont tip. At least I know I wont be tipping in the near future.

The only reason I asked is that most of the reading material has suggested that you needed to be pretty quick. I intend on visiting a casino soon just to stand around and watch. If I think I can do well, then I may lay a bet down. Thanks for the input everyone.

So crown uses 8 decks do they? That makes sense, I had some guy tell me they use 4. Shows hes full of crap. :D Are you talking about the continuous shufflers, or just machines that shuffle at the end? Ill hopefully be hitting crown once I get a bit better. :D Any other comments about...

Id be interested to know where I can count online. I imagine it would be easier sitting by the computer than doing it at a casino.

Most people who can count at casinos can usually count a pack in under 20 seconds, am I right?

To be honest, unless I was playing with some mates, it wouldnt really worry me how the others on the table were going. Is there some sort of etiquette that is followed?

Hi guys, Just wondering how long it takes all of you to count a pack of cards. I just managed a PB of 30 secs. I still make a few mistakes, but theyre becoming fewer and fewer :D. Ill hopefully halve this before I go near a casino.

Im new to all this, can you explain to me what you mean by 1st base etc? Ive never played at a table, only on my computer. :D I wouldnt have thought it mattered what the others on the table did? I mean, youre all playing off against the dealer, not each other.

Thanks BJTeam, Ill probably hit the casino when I feel a little more confident than I do now. Im getting better at counting, but still a long way off where Id like to be. I dont mind losing a little at the start if it helps me in the long run though. Cheers.

Good read there Ken. Do you have any idea about what he meant by box size or something? That part confused me. Id be keen to know if anyone has had an experience at Crown too.
