Well, if you having a bad day and down money, more money then you should be losing and your next stop is either the ATM or the door, you probably should walk away.
Weather you count or do not count you still have to have some sort of money management system. As well all know you can be the best card counter in the world, have the shoe at a great plus count and still loss a lot of money.

I have been there many times. Your rules are correct. The only addition is you can split 10's at Foxwoods (you can't at Mohegan Sun). Not that you would split 10's but in case you wanted to.

1. Why does it not produce a true count? If I had a count of the high cards say at 66 and she had the low count at 75 that would leave the the count at +9. From that I can see how many decks are left in the shoe and determine the true count. This is how I count right now with out any help...
I am not your typical big gambler. You will find me at the $15-$25 dollar tables. I started getting into the counting card craze about 4 years ago. I was easily able to count at home at a pretty good success rate so I gave it a shot in a casino on my next Vegas trip. I was a terrible failure...
