Harrahs offering room and all you can eat buffets from $57

If i read it correctly, you only get two passes for you're entire stay, not per night. So basically you can pick one day and you and someone else can gorge yourself for an entire 24 hours.

    Las vegas $10 6-5?

Yeah it's around. The MGM rules are as above, however during the week there aren't many tables below $25 min. On the weekends it seems another entire pit is open and most of those are $10 and $15 8 deck.

What's the deal with the automatic shufflers?

Yeah I think it greatly eliminates the times you get on of those shoes where the dealer just can't make a hand and is busting regularly. It's just a steady decrease of your money for a recreational player rather than the swings up and down. At least this has been my experience. Unfortunatly I...

What's the deal with the automatic shufflers?

Yes, the South Point is a fine hotel with a great value for cleanliness to price ratio and good food but the games are a hot pile of garbage. Even the craps is only double odds. You would think they would have some better rules for a place that's that far off the strip. The rule calculator...

What's the deal with the automatic shufflers?

I don't know. It could just be such a small sample but I've played many, many hours at my local casino that is hand shuffled and even when flat betting with occasional raises, I've been able to come away with some money or at least get a few hours of playing and be up or down some. Every...

What's the deal with the automatic shufflers?

It just seems that it's impossible to get any kind of streak going while playing on those tables and the cards are really randomized. It almost feels like you're playing on a CSM machine.

What's the deal with the automatic shufflers?

Not the continuous ones but the ones that are used when they alternate decks? I swear I've been playing for years at my local casino and then I go out to Vegas and it's like I can't win a hand. I don't think it can be a coincedence that all of my losing sessions while I've been playing have been...

MJbballar23's conclusions on card counting (longish)

As long as I'm not losing my ass, I'd still play. Yes it's entertaining and I'd rather drop $100 or $200 one night at a BJ table then do most anything else that costs that much. Like I would never pay that to go to a sporting event like a football game or hockey game. I could get a full night...

MJbballar23's conclusions on card counting (longish)

I've come to realize that this endeavour is super difficult to have as your only source of income. I mean with the bankroll that you need, the ups and downs, and then basically the casinos stopping you if you win too much or whatever else they do, it's got to take hardcore dedication and...

Does the Money You Start With Matter?

Wow really. Is that a normal occurance? Is it a smaller place or something? I don't think I've ever had something like that happen at the cage.

Does the Money You Start With Matter?

I think buying in for more does help some. Another thing I never do is use the chips I got from one table at another table after I've been colored up. I'm almost positive that at the place I play there's a difference between buying in with cash and checking blacks.

Scoring decent rental car in Vegas

Yeah no ****. If you're 10 minutes late returning you get charged but after you rent it, it sometimes takes 30 minutes to drive out after you've gone down to the garage. All the times I've rented on travelocity, I've paid at the rental place not up front. For hotels and flights you pay up...

Scoring decent rental car in Vegas

Yeah, my auto covers as well but the line they keep giving me at the rental places is that it will cover damage, etc but things like the cost the rental place charges for time that the car is in the shop being fixed and can't be rented out isn't covered. I don't know if this is a line of bull...

Scoring decent rental car in Vegas

That's not bad at all. Like 30-40% lower. What I'd like to know is what is the deal with the insurance these places offer? Is it worthwhile to get it?

Scoring decent rental car in Vegas

If you go to Travelocity, just put in your travel dates and they'll compare all the car companies on one, nice, easy to see page and highlight the cheapest one for the size car you want. I use this all the time. If you're going for a week, you can probably expect to be in the neighborhood of...
