If im not mistaken, when the deck is half way through and you count with hi-lo, and lets say the count is +3... then you would divide it by .5 which means you multiply by 2 so your true count is +6. So the deck should go pretty high really.

Buy in with, i think the ideal situation was 1/4 of your bankroll, then pull out more when you need to. If you still think that is too much then just buy in for less. It is only 50$ a hand, and that is max betting, so you can buy in for 100$ and just buy in for more whenever you need to.

If no voodoo strategy can gain you money consitantly, and you have no advantage using one, then what is the point of even having these strategies? You would think if someone knew they didnt work that they would not use them, right? Or is there some magical voodoo system that no one has found...

I love the hi-lo. I have memorized the illustrious 18 and fab 4, and the count is so easy that i can do it in my sleep. I know that the count does not work on a 2 deck very well, but on a 6 deck it works great, correct? They have a new 6 deck at my casino. The rules are: 5$-200$ limit...

This is a noob question, but what exactly are the benifits of the keycards? To memorize what comes right after them? What is the point though, if the key cards come out at the begining of the hand, so you just know what the other players have..?
