  • Thursday, April 7th at 2 AM Eastern.

The Final Table episode will air on:

  • Sunday April 10th at 2 AM Eastern.

Check your local schedule in case the times are different in your area.

Look for me in the semifinal episode, but regrettably not in the finals! My story hinges on a critical decision on hand 29 of the semifinal round. Although the editing removes my decision time, I took a couple of minutes or more to make the decision to surrender my 14vT. I finally was called on time before making the choice. I've talked about this hand before, on the message boards at BlackjackTournaments.com

What about this year's event? The Hilton's Million Dollar Blackjack Tournament III is almost done, with the last monthly qualifier being held in April. The final 200-player battle for the $1 million first place prize will be held in May 2005, and hopefully it will be filmed for future broadcast on the Travel Channel.

BJInfo's Message Board Launches

If you haven't visited the site in the last couple of months, drop by and check out the new site design. I think you'll agree it's easier to read, and better organized. There are several new features on the way.

Just this week, we unveiled the newest addition to the site: the BlackjackInfo Message Forums. Come join in the community and discuss anything about blackjack and casinos. In my first post there, you'll read why the world needs yet another blackjack message board.

Blackjack Tournament Cruise

Here's your chance to mix a great vacation with exciting tournament action, competing with some of the best blackjack tournament players in the world.

On October 31st 2005, the Carnival Cruise Line ship Spirit departs from San Diego on an 8-day cruise along the Mexican Riviera. With cruise stops at Acapulco, Zihuatanejo/Ixtapa and Manzanillo, this should be a great cruise. And, best of all, on each of the four days spent at sea, there will be a big blackjack tournament on-board. With entry fees for each event set at $300+$20, and rebuys for $150, the prize pool of these events is expected to reach $100,000 each!

The cruise itself is priced starting at $619 per person. Cabin rates have gone up from that rate since the original arrangements were made, but the tournament cruise has a block of cabins available at the lower rate, so book early. You can put down a deposit now, and the balance is payable in August. I've booked passage for my family, so I'll be there.

To book your trip, contact Jim or Carolyn Thomas at Point Loma World Travel. Their number is 800-783-8646.

That's it for now. Best of luck, online and off! -Ken-
