Big Blackjack Sunday
This Sunday, July 24th, is Big Blackjack Sunday at
Global Player online casino. My tournament site BlackjackTournaments.com is sponsoring a special
multi-player blackjack tournament scheduled to begin at 3 PM Eastern. The entry fee is $50,
and the casino has agreed to add $250 of bonus money to the prize pool, in addition to 100% of the entry fees.
If we get at least 50 players, they'll add another $500 in cash, and if we get 80 participants, they'll be
adding a nice $1000 in cash to the prize pool.
It's a guaranteed overlay, and a chance to play against some of the best tournament players in the country.
Also on Sunday, there will be no added fees all day long for their popular Sit & Go Blackjack tournaments.
Instead of the usual $15+$1, $30+$2, and $50+$3 entry fees, the entries will be flat $15, $30 or $50, with the entire
entry pool paid out as prizes to first and second place at each five-player table. It should be a busy day all day long.
Three months of BJ Insider, Free
In addition to this newsletter, I write a monthly column for Henry Tamburin's excellent
email newsletter BJ Insider. Over the last year or so, I've written numerous
items about tournament strategy as well as other blackjack topics. Henry's publication is subscription-based, and
costs $19.95 per year. However, Henry is running a special offer through us this month, where
you can get a free trial subscription for three months.
The nicest part of this deal is that you have full access to the archived past issues of the newsletter, which
means you can get free access to hundreds of useful articles.
Sign up for your free three month access here: BJ Insider Free Trial.
BJInfo's Message board grows
The new BlackjackInfo Message forums are going strong, with quite a few new members posting and answering questions
about all kinds of blackjack topics. If you haven't dropped by yet, check it out:

Riverbelle's new offer
Online casino bonus offers have gotten more and more restrictive, so it's nice to see this recent
development at one of my favorites...
Riverbelle Casino is offering a new signup bonus offer with a twist. Buy at least $50
on your first deposit, and they'll give $10 free every day for 30 days. All you have to do is login and play each day, and your
account will be credited for $10. That adds up to $300 in bonus money available on a $50 deposit.
As usual, read the terms and conditions before depositing, but you'll find in this case that there aren't too many restrictions. Players
from most countries must wager the initial deposit and any bonuses credited 20 times before withdrawing. The allowable games for the
required wagering include blackjack, which is unusual these days. If you were to take full advantage of this deal and get the entire $300
bonus money, you would need to wager at least $7000 at blackjack, slots or video slots before withdrawing. That's pretty reasonable for
an offer of this size. And, unlike many offers these days, the bonus is fully withdrawable!
If you choose to check it out, I would also encourage you to at least spend a few minutes checking out the new slot games they offer. (Gasp!)
That's right, I'm recommending at least a brief visit on the one-armed bandits. The Microgaming software developers have really been
producing some highly entertaining slot games these days. I actually hit a $1600 jackpot recently on one of their penny slots, just while I
was doing some research on the new games for my SlotCharts.com site.
Vegas radio show
Kenny Einiger has just started hosting his own weekly radio show in Las Vegas. "Be in Action" airs each week
in Las Vegas on KLAV AM (1230 on the AM dial) at 6 PM Pacific time.
If you don't know who Kenny E is, he was the winner of World Series of Blackjack 2005 on GSN. He also has
put together a most amazing run of wins in his tournament play over the last 12 months or so. He's a skilled
blackjack player, and his show touches on many different gambling topics.
Kenny has a lot of contacts in the gambling world, so you'll be treated to regular guests knowledgeable about
many aspects of gambling. This week, the guest was Henry Tamburin. Last week, I was the guest on the show while
I was in Vegas participating in several events. The show also takes calls from listeners, so if you have questions,
listen in and call.
If you're not in the Las Vegas area, you can still listen to the show over the internet. Check out Kenny's new
website WorldBlackjackChampion.com, or tune in directly to the show using
KLAV's audio feed. The show airs at 6 PM Pacific on Thursdays, with a
rebroadcast at 4 PM on Saturdays. (Editor's note: This show is no longer broadcast.)
That's it for now. Best of luck, online and off! -Ken-
