I'm not happy about the damage he's done to the game, but other than that I have nothing personal against him.

Do we know for SURE that he's missing a tooth?

I don't know if inspiring is the right word. Here's someone with incredible smarts and talent. However, he's really doing nothing creative to make a positive impact on society. I suppose if he were working on Wall St., the same could be said.
May not be using his talents creating a tangible impact on society, but if this is what he truly enjoys, kudos to him. His ideas, along with other AP innovators have certainly inspired me with thinking outside the box, and not necessarily just advantage plays at the tables. Ie., hopefully just a matter of time before I take a calculated small risk, exit corporate and start working for myself instead of making profits for others.

There's some easily-accessible B-roll footage from a television program that would explain the missing tooth—I have an acquaintance with a similar background that would frequently remove his false set of front teeth prior to getting into a fight!

If it's the TV program I think it is, wasn't he in disguise? If so, the missing tooth may be part of it.

I think a lot of people overlook this aspect of AP. I also think that a lot of people seem to confuse career choice and contribution to society. Sure, a career can impact society positively or negatively, but it doesn't necessarily have to speak for an individual's non-work-related contributions. I don't consider AP to be my "valuable" contribution to society, although it comprises a very significant portion of my income and time spent working. I do other things outside of playing cards.

He was in disguise in all of the TV programs I've seen him on. B-roll is footage that isn't part of the primary story or interview, typically edited in to affect the pace or structure of a scene. Sometimes the unimportant details are the ones that give you the most information.

Jg

The way a few of you are swooning over JG,, I just hope you have a GF:laugh:

I have no doubt that former frequent posters here, Maz and Bojack are equally talented, or more so, and as out of the Box but just choose to keep it "in the box".:)

The one who impresses me the most is "Sucker" and his story, having a family, supporting them and putting his kids through college while being a Pro AP,,,that is most impressive.

I'm just awed by any truly skilled AP, not necessarily by their personality though.
Stories of people finding great advantages in a casino (compared to straight counting) always gets me fired up to look as hard as I can for the best advantage I can.
