Mohegan has better rules (S17) but bad penetration (4 decks out of 6 dealt).

Foxwoods has worse rules (H17) but very good penetration (7 decks out of 8 dealt).

Ergo, choose Foxwoods. Be patient. Wait for the killer shoe. YMMV.

Here's an update. This five year post that I'm quoting remains accurate. Also, for anyone that is interested, Mohegan Sun will grandfather while Foxwoods will not. Finally, Foxwoods has $1 blackjack however it's not playable because of the 25 cent ante or fee.

Confirming as well. I haven't noticed any heat, over years of play, but I did stay out of the Newport room. Plenty of tables around to wong. Decent SP21 as well, though it tends to be slow/crowded.

They have gotten a lot tighter on comps, and have some pretty dumb policies now. (i.e. frequency of trips is more important than total action.)
