I'm so discouraged

#1
I played long sessions, sleept in corners of the casino and now I'm down 10 dollars after expenses, which i cut to a bare minimum.
Now that after all of this is done I just realized I can't afford to lose. In going to have to buy a car and go to dealer school, ideally and if i lose my roll I will be cutting it close. I don't even know it i want to be a dealer anymore though. I have already been 86d from the casino that's having a huge expansion and I don't know if the other casino will want to hire that homeless guy with a gambling problem that sleeps in their restaurant booths while they're closed but I don't want to wash dishes for 8 hours a day either. I don't mean to complain because I did this to myself but it feels good to get it all out.

I am curious why your profile indicates "female". Any hint to me (PM?) about in what region you reside or to which you are willing to relocate? Ideally, create a page at free dot primary pad dot com and PM the page name to me so that we can interact outside of this forum that is, for the most part, permanent public record.

Why in the world would you want to be a dealer? What a dead-end job in a horrible work environment. Why not get an education instead, and do something useful with your life?

sorry to hear that. it sounds as if you've realized your limitation point far as financial matters are concerned. that's a bit of a bright side of the situation. pretty much everything has a bright side and dark side. here's hoping you discover some more of the bright side.

All the casino dealers tell me they make good money and I don't know how dead end it is. I can potentially rank up somehow. The work enviorment is terrible, objectively because of all the smoke but I enjoy the environment.
I'm deterred from furthering my education because I have never been a good student and I don't want to go in to debt. Student debt can get ugly. I have seen people with student debt at the age of 40 and you can't expunge student debt and let's not forget the time it takes to complete college. Years and years, dealer school is a few months.

If I had to chose a job in a casino, I always thougt surveillance would be nice. I think pit boss would be my second choice. Dealer just sucks.
