Is Flash Brain Washing Everyone Over Hi-Opt II

I wonder why MWP posted this here, where Flash won't read it or respond, rather than on BJTF, where he spends his time. Afraid of generating a 20 page thread?

Ok, since someone bumped this thread, I just happen to have a couple thoughts about recent revelations concerning 'Flash'. I feel bad because I know Flash is in declining health, mentally as well as physically, but I believe the record needs to be set straight.

The issue was not whether there is any benefit of using Hi-opt2, vs a level 1 count. That is completely dependent on the individual. What is at issue is Flash has spent many years making false statements that have mislead players, particularly newer players. Statements such as "no one can win playing a level one count", "no professional players play a level one count" and so on and so forth. It is one thing to be a proponent of something and say in my opinion such and such is beneficial, it is another to make completely false and misleading statements to support your "opinion".
Yeah. That pissed me off too when I read it. The arrogant blowhard doesn't need to say lies to sell hiopt2's strength to the types that would try it and succeed with it. The sims will do that. If you are trying to win at a casino rather than a simulator you can do it with almost any count. Then how you decide to use that count as a tool in casinos will determine what you must be comfortable with. It will determine expected swings and long term BR growth. If you don't have the BR or the stomach for you to feel comfortable winning and losing then you can change the way you use the tool. Changing your priorities can be used to change what you experience throughout playing. The tools are ways to use your count and your approach to the game.

Flash already stated in a Bosox thread that Wong Halves is best for the shoe games. He violates so many rules of common sense, there is no way anyone should consider anything he has to say to have creedence or viability. Hi Opt II is only good for deep pen pitch games at a casino with a huge tolerance for frequent large bets and is not afraid of a player maximizing PE. When you find that casino? Please let me know.;)
