Exactly…
Just another possible "like they need another" way for the dealer to exploit the player to overtip to avoid a vindictive shortage of reported re buy-ins, or a quick informing to the pit of any unusual moves, or bet raising by the player.

I sort of got the feeling there was an element to encourage player to be using players cards. (not play unrated). I can't really explain why I think that and how it really changes anything in that realm. I actually still play unrated at both locations. The dealer will ask for a card, I say I don't have it with me and only have a few minutes or one of a half dozen excuses I use regularly and that is that.

However I have had situations that the pit comes over, taps into the screen, doesn't see any info for me and will ask the dealer what I bought in for. I just pretend I don't know or care what they are talking about. Nothing further was ever said....so far.

Nightshifter sounds like a new account of BJGenious. I call bullshit on this story. If hes not BJGenious, hes probably just another player who lost their bankrolls or something and are looking for an excuse because a lot of what he says sounds like ploppy voodoo and selective memory of bad beats.

Im not dismissing cheating in general as everyone already knows how I feel about this industry, but in this case it sounds like utter B.S. If there was cheating going on, pit bosses wouldnt be whispering in the dealer's ear to gaff the game and there wouldnt be this many people 'in on it'. That would cause too high of a chance for someone to blow the whistle on the casino. It would be a very tight knit group that only the highest of managment of a very select few that would know about it and not the lowest of the low being the dealers. Give me a break. A billion dollar corporation spilling gaffing secrets to dealers and shift managers/floormen? LOL

"...It would be a very tight knit group that only the highest of *management of a very select few that would know about it and not the lowest of the low being the '(average mule working)' dealers..."

Now you're getting it... ;)

I suppose it is a possibility. I assume if there was an IP address match, Al Rogers, would have stepped in.
