Ok well maybe not everywhere, but after a long hibernation period from the casinos, i returned to AC recently ton find 5 dollar games almost everywhere I went, surely the product of low customer traffic and being off peak season.

Not all blackjack tables were 5 dollars but there was a game of some kind at many casinos at 5 dollar minimum so if your a gambler on a budget, now might be the time to get your game on at such bargain prices.

AP hustling aside, id play craps at 5 dollars just to get free drinks, its hell of time to be gambling in AC right now.

Ferret,
Having very recently been to AC, I'm sorry but I must disagree with your sentiment that now is the time to go to AC unless you're a basic strategy player. AC sucks right now. Every casino I went to had penetration at 75% or worse with the exception of one or two tables I saw. The only casinos I'm aware of with a $5 bj table is the Borgata and sometimes at Showboat.

Yep, AC is good if you like H17 shoes with mediocre to bad pen and no surrender. I don't like that, so I avoid AC.

I recently went to AC just to socialize with some of the top APs and get some tutoring. Every time I do this I come home a better AP. Usually I have no intention of playing the crappy games in AC, H17, mediocre pen and no surrender. This trip I played a few shoes because I found some dealers cutting .9 decks 1.1 decks and 1.2 decks and the tables were empty or near empty. Came away with a nice little profit. I left when another dealer cut 2 decks for the .9 deck cut and when the table got crowded for the other 2. I got a full shoe in all 3 before conditions sucked again (thin cuts and uncrowded tables made them barely playable). I drive by better games to get to AC so I stop on both sides of my trip to play some great games.

Yeah, I know the games are bad, I'm not actually even talking about blackjack but all table games as a whole. At tropicana on a wed night every game on the main floor was 5 dollars except blackjack which was ten and the usual green chip nms games which wernt nms anymore. Resorts had the same limits. I don't goto ac to play myself, just to reap up hotels with jacusszis and relax inbetween weekends when I work.

I'm going to AC in the next couple of days but I will not play if they will not offer me a reasonable game, including decent pen. I have lots of comp dollars to spend, and my first purchase if things are really bad will be a bathing suit, because that's how I'll spend my visit-- at the pool. Any good shows in AC right now? This may be the first trip I don't gamble.

I do this like every week, I think more of you should give it a whirl.
