Also was wondering if anybody knows the current deck penetration conditions at Mystic Lake, on all their 6 deck, 4 deck, and 2 deck games (most importantly their higher limit games)

I play at blackbear if you ever travel there, good pen and nice rules - 6 deck, DAS, no sur., double any 2, H17, peek.

Only problem I see is that if you play high stakes the highest limit they have is $1,000 and they haven't seen anyone play that in awhile lol (or so they said today).

Not sure about comps either, but don't think its too good for blackjack..

playing conditions

penetration at mystic lake varies greatly by dealer and penetration worsens as the stakes are raised. i watch the high stakes room once in a while and all are 4 deck shoes cutting off 1.5 decks or so.

So would it be accurate to say that all of Mystic Lakes $25-$500 tables are 4 deck games that generally get 1.5 deck cut of, hit on soft 17, allow double after split, none of them allowing surrender, and all of which you can bet table minimum on three hands.

I would greatly appreciate accurate information about each of Mystic Lakes $25-$500 tables, thanks :p

yea the $25 - 500 tables are all 4 deck, no surrender, cut off about a deck or a little more. h17, das, split up to 4 hands including aces, double any two cards. the $25 - 500 tables are all in the high stakes area and im sure they are watched very closely bc of the large spread the table allows. The pit boss ratio is 1 pit boss for every 2 tables in high stakes. Big bettors are everywhere at mystic.

you can play up to 3 hands. when you play 3 hands they call it out to the pit boss, "checks in play" on any bet over $100. Those $25 - 500 tables are lucrative but just dont overstay your welcome. i did see one guy win over 20k in one hour in the high stakes area and he never got backed off (pretty sure he was just a lucky sob). I've heard of several people who have been barred from mystic; all playing in the high stakes area. this is a little off topic but one dealer told me that she was dealing in high stakes and a guy doubled a hard 20 with a $1000 bet on the table and got an ace. hahahaha they kicked him out right after that.

i was at mystake lake as i call it (never play high stakes slots there) last week. I swear the $50 4 deck in high stakes i was playing was a 50% cut...so these guys saying 1.5 deck penetration on a 4D arent lying. It does seem to get worse on high limit. I pulled off $500 in 1 shoe and left.

I would say on their $25 6D in high stakes they are 50-60% cuts. They do have 2 2D on the main floor for $25. If you hit them on a weekday/night, usually empty and a decent cut at 60-65% maybe. Ive had huge swings on those which is probably why i dont frequent ML much. (the bad memories seem to last longer than the paydays)

90% pene used to be the standard in 2006. I think too many counters got word. I believe this AWEsome penetration ,fast dealing, and high limits(by MN standards) made it one of the best games on the planet but it was only for a short time maybe a year or so.

I was back there in the last week.....It must be dealer descretion because i was at a 4D in high stakes again, and they had 80-85% cuts this time. One week 50-60%, next week 85%...guess ill just have to watch dealers previous to sitting in. PS, it was a fantastic shoe with the 85% cut :)

Major mistake

is talking about fine playing conditions on the net. You are inviting hi roller pro's, who care nothing about you, to come into your back yard and burn out your games and then move on fat and happy.

Of course casino people read these sites and also gather the information. You should never mention to anyone except teammates the facts on fine games or special situations.

Protect your games.

As a matter of caution the post above this one should be removed, too much information.

I agree, I kept pretty quiet about the game until after I was barred. I even "sold" the game to someone. Good games come and go and it isnt what it used to be anyway. That is why there is trackjack and CBJN
