Doc, if you are reading this, you found the right site. I hope I got you a little more interested in blackjack.

This site has free basic strategy charts, and also a blackjack trainer game. I recommend you check them out. The other blackjack site I mentioned is https://www.blackjacktheforum.com It is probably the best blackjack forum site on the internet presently and most of it is free.

A good starter book is Bootleggers 200 Proof Blackjack (he even mentions the good old U.P. of MI in the book) and second I would get Professional Blackjack by Wong as a good book.

On blackjack forums we never mention anyone's real name. We make a "handle" to go by.

If you want to email me about anything blackjack related my email for this purpose is [email protected]. We never use our personal email for this.

Remember, you have to memorize basic strategy first so it becomes automatic. Then you can add card counting and I recommend the Hi-Lo Count.

Again Hi Doc. Hope you don't forget the name of the site this time.

Anyway, have a good upcoming trip to Laughlin. I recommend playing double deck at Aquarius, Tropicana, and Golden Nugget. Play single deck at Riverside.
Here is a link to a sample copy of Current Blackjack News. https://assets.bj21.com/newsletters/pdf_files/000/000/028/original/CBJN1805.pdf?1525361174
Remember don't play any blackjack that pays 6:5 on a blackjack. There is a lot of that in Laughlin.

Also here is link to Basic Strategy Engine located on this site.
