Agree...no matter how big the place is, if you are playing 6 hour sessions you are going to get caught soon. If you are playing any type of action they are interested in that is. A tiny red chipper might last awhile, but even that is risky.
And choosing he "5'1 Asian lady" pit boss instead of the "6'3 white guy" could also be a mistake lol. Who knows.

No. The wins were (happily) much too large.

But for a counting game, I do believe that careful ratholing is a good idea. It will help if they don't catch you on. But there is much more to longevity.

That’s a good point. Another thing to consider is that it is a massive place with three separate areas of around 10 blackjack tables each. There are also people betting way more than me and I get to pick my pit boss (of which there are many). This definitely would make it hard for any of the floor people to recognize me, so my main concern is the eye in the sky, and I have little idea how that operates.

In your first above quote, you expressed concern about the eye in the sky well one way to make their job really easy for themselves is for you to park your ass in the same seat for long periods of time. Playing for over 6 hours every time that you play "if you must" Wonging Out of shoes and changing tables and rooms becomes a necessity if you want any chance at all of the longevity that you hope for. Besides, it is great positive EV to avoid playing against all the deep shit negative hands.

I appreciate you giving me info but I think your time would be better used telling me what you know or any advice you have rather than pointing out a contradictory statement (I don't even believe it's all that contradictory if that matters, not that it matters). I play for 6 hours shuffling between tables and cut my session in half by eating. I sometimes stay at a table for a little while if it's hovering around a neutral count that could go positive and if I'm at a place where I'm not getting any heat. You are right about the "parking my ass" part but I'm just not experienced enough to know how I should stay at a given table. I'm guessing it's when I have revealed my big bet once, maybe twice? Maybe it's when I am up a lot or down a lot. I'm not 100% sure.

I'm happy to listen if you have any advice for me.

I could then use a slightly decreased spread as cover and the comps could make up for the loss in EV. I would have to do some math before employing that though. Thanks man.

Yea basically just exchange them for my phone or something. Drop them in pocket as I pull phone out in one motion.

Honestly don't know but they come around every now and then and tally the tray and players' chips etc.. I don't do this anymore though. They leave us alone mostly. Sometimes even tell the table to raise their bets when they see a bunch of low cards hit the table lol

That’s pretty funny. I’m going to go to my local casino and ask about their rewards program and see if I can get enough info to jump on it. I’m just scared of the prospect of them having all of my information in their system but a player’s card and ratholing I can improving longevity and EV.

My advice...if you are honestly going to give card counting a real try...you will regret giving the casino your name and info.
