any decent hotel deals for weekends in tunica? doesnt even have to be a casino hotel. Me and my wife are looking at getting out of town for a night or two and outside of biloxi, tunica is probably the closest place. anything decent price wise as in under maybe $75 a night or places that your play can get your rate knocked down upon checkout?

Simply call them all. Ask for a "casino rate"

I stayed at (never played at) harrah's and I think that they were $35 weekdays and $45 weekends.

Most of the games in this town suck as far as I am concerned, and heat is nasty for anyone betting green.

I think harrah's was offering like $1 rooms on Tuesdays. Just call around after easter, they're desperate. They'll probably comp your room for red chip play if you're a good comp hustler.

Fitzgeralds has reasonably priced rooms, I might check with them before paying the sometimes-exorbitant rates at the HET shops and the Gold Strike.

Fitzy's is a little sweaty, so be careful. Nice hotel, though.

drove through tunica on the way back from missouri the other day, stopped and played, only played at harrahs there but didnt do too bad, liked the single decker they had next to the high limit room, blackjacks paid 3:2, Double on first 2 cards (not just 10 or 11) but no DAS. Cleaned up from a $600 loss the first night there.

only played there because they had a day care for really young kids so it was a convenience thing

Odd that Harrah's actually offered a good SD game.

You are remiss in failing to report: penetration, bet spread / stakes tolerated.

Please provide same.

i was able to get away with a $25-100 spread, (br didnt allow me to bet much more than that) pen seemed pretty close to just over 1/2 deck dealt, i think with 3 players you got 2 sometimes 3 hands. when me and my wife were the only ones playing it was 3-4 hands.

suprised me to see it too

single deck

Just got back from Tunica. Played for days at the Horseshoe and Gold Strike. When we were ready to head home, we stopped at Harrahs. Played for hours at the single deck game next to the high limit pit. Was a great game. Single deck BJ, 3:2, insur. 2:1, H17, min 25, not sure of Max., DD, No DAS, hand shuffled, and we were careful of our spread. 25, 50, 75, and no higher than 125 (this happened only twice). Had a nice time, and wish we had not wasted our time on the DD games at H and GS, and single deck games that they used the shuffler there too.

Does anyone know of any other single deck games with same situations or close in U.S.?

Thanks!

edit: removed quote

Wow. That may have been a bit long for a single deck game... Oh well.

No, no one really has good single deck any more. Maybe northern nevada? I've never been so I can't say.

Oh, and be careful, because you may have given a bit too much information in that post. You stated where you played, stayed, and how long your sessions were.
