Bank of Ayudhya Public Company Limited was founded in 1945, making it one of Thailand's oldest commercial banks. It operates under the brand name Krungsri and is owned by MUFG (Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group) of Japan, which acquired a controlling stake in 2013.
