Vale la pena giocarci?

Choose this over the American family when you want ordinary roulette at the lower cost. The single zero gives a 2.70% house edge on standard bets. It does not make roulette profitable.

Watch the wheel

After betting closes, the wheel produces one winning number. A zero is not a red, black, odd, even, low or high win.

3 35:1

Settle the round

A winning single number bet pays 35 units of profit per unit staked, with the original stake returned. Other bets use the paytable below.

One zero, ordinary roulette

Gold Tier European Roulette is the single zero family in Bovada’s live roulette catalog. It has a live dealer and 37 pockets, numbered 0 through 36. One spin gives one winning number. This is not Flash Roulette, and the rules do not describe a random multiplier or bonus round.

You can select a single number, place chips across neighboring numbers on the layout, or choose broader groups such as a dozen or red. The racetrack is a way to place wheel neighbor selections. It is not a separate draw or a way to make those numbers more likely to land.

What a winning bet pays

The payouts below are profit odds, not the total returned. A winning $1 straight up bet earns $35 and returns the original $1. A dozen or column covers twelve numbers and pays 2:1. Red, black, odd, even, low and high each cover eighteen numbers and pay 1:1. Zero does not belong to any of those groups.

The European basket covering 0, 1, 2 and 3 pays 8:1. With these ordinary payouts the edge is 1 divided by 37, or 2.70%. A larger selection wins more often but pays less, so it does not lower that cost.

Choosing the family, not a limit band

Choose this family for the single zero rules, then check the casino’s current table limits before betting. A lobby limit is not a permanent game specification. Wait for the next betting window if you arrive after bets close. Rebet repeats a selection; it does not improve the chance of winning. Set a spending and time limit before playing.

The math behind Live European Roulette

The wheel has 37 pockets: the numbers 1 to 36 and a single zero. The game's rules list every bet and its payout. Every figure below comes from those numbers: the house edge is worked out exactly from the payouts and the pockets.

Try it: place your bets

Tap a number for a straight up bet, a line between two numbers for a split, a corner for four numbers, or the edge next to the dozens for a street or six line. Add as many bets as you like.

The green pocket is not red, black, odd, even, high or low, so every outside bet loses when it lands. That is where the house edge comes from.

"A fair price" is the payout that would make a bet break even over time: the pockets it loses on for each pocket it wins on. Every payout here is below it. No RTP figures are published; these are worked out exactly from the payouts and the 37 pockets.

    One zero or two

    Questa tabella

    Single zero, 37 pockets

    2.70% margine della casa

One green pocket out of 37. $1 on red for 100 spins costs about $2.70 on average.

    Double zero, 38 pockets

    5.26% margine della casa

Two green pockets out of 38, almost double the cost: about $5.26 per 100 spins of $1 on red. The five number bet (0, 00, 1, 2, 3) costs even more, 7.89%.

    Same game, different presentation

Every bet returns 97.30%, so no bet is cheaper than another: a 35 to 1 straight up and an even money red are priced the same, they just win at very different rates.

The rules at your casino may show different figures; its in game help is the version that applies to you.

Is there a Live European Roulette strategy?

No. Every bet on this single zero table costs the same 2.70%, and zero takes even money bets in full, with no La Partage or En Prison to soften it.

    Zero is the whole edge

Red wins on 18 pockets and loses on the other 19: the 18 black numbers and the zero. Paying even money on those odds is where the 2.70% comes from.

    What you can control

    Inside or outside, same price

A 35 to 1 single number and an even money red both cost 2.70%. Pick by how often you want to win and how much each win pays.

    The cheaper Gold Tier table

Gold Tier American Roulette costs 5.26% on ordinary bets and 7.89% on the five number bet, so this table is the cheaper of the two.

    Live European Roulette FAQ

Is Gold Tier European Roulette single zero?

Yes. The wheel has 37 pockets, numbered 0 through 36.

    What is the house edge?

The ordinary paytable gives 1 divided by 37, or 2.70%, on standard bets. This is a mathematical derivation from the wheel and payouts, not a bonus return claim.

What happens to red or black when zero lands?

Those bets lose. Zero does not favor the even money selections, and there is no La Partage or En Prison rule at this table.

Does a straight up win include my stake?

The 35:1 figure means 35 units of profit per unit bet. The original stake is returned separately on a win.

Is this the same as Flash Roulette?

No. This is the ordinary single zero family. Flash Roulette is a separate multiplier product and its feature payouts do not belong to this paytable.

What are the odds in Gold Tier European Roulette?

Each of the 37 pockets has a 1 in 37 chance (2.70%), and red or black wins 48.65% of spins, losing in full on zero. With standard payouts, every bet has a 2.70% house edge.

Is there a European roulette strategy that works?

No. Every bet on this table costs the same 2.70%, from a single number to red or black, so no choice of bets is cheaper than another.
