What happened to NYX Gaming Group<\/h2>\n

NYX Gaming Group no longer exists as its own company.<\/b> If you searched for it expecting a live software brand, here is the honest position: NYX was bought by Scientific Games<\/b> in a deal that completed in January 2018<\/b>, folded into that company's digital division, and the NYX name was retired. Four years later Scientific Games renamed itself Light & Wonder<\/b>. So the games NYX used to supply are still around, but the NYX brand is gone.<\/p>\n

In its day NYX was a genuinely big supplier, not a game studio you played at but a business-to-business company whose software sat behind some of the largest names in online betting. It was formed in 2011 from the merger of the Australian slot studio NextGen Gaming, founded in 1999, and the Swedish supplier NYX Interactive, founded in 2006. It listed on the Toronto venture exchange, ran from Las Vegas, and grew fast by buying other suppliers.
