So it's been awhile since i've been to my home base I'd say since Dec.'08. Last night was my first night in awhile and boy have things changed. Ever since I was a beginner I would play $3 bj and I was going to continue to do so. But now they change the rules for that game. They pay 6:5 now on Blackjacks and if you bet over $5 and get a blackjack you get paid even money. So that discouraged me from playing that game. Was looking to wong in and out but the opportunity didn't present itself. Drove to ********r Casino and noticed that they now have csm's! I was shocked so that discouraged me also. Although they have a double deck game now but it isn't dealt from a shoe.
I believe rules are dealer hits s17, DAS, split aces, no mid shoe entry, $25 min. was trying to estimate penetration but since he was holding the deck couldn't get a good view on it.
All in all it was quite discouraging but better time for me to practice my skills and plan a mini vacation elsewhere. Played craps won a little then lost a little walked away from the casino $2 up.
