It's in South America, I was surprised too with this rule. It's an odd resplitting rule because you can only resplit your first card, not the second, third, etc. And you can resplit aces and hitting them too! It's a CSM game! And the ploppy also liked to split tens against a dealer ten!

Last night a ploppy split 5 times a pair of tens against a 3. So he had 6 tens in six hands and finished with 16s to 19s. The dealer closed the round with a 20! All the bets gone! Very funny situation for everybody except for the ploppy!

For Kelly betting in blackjack we can define the optimal size of our unit bet as fB where B is our bankroll and f = (advantage of the game) / (variance of the game). But, if f is a fraction, how can it be that we get it dividing "units of bet" (advantage) by "units of bet" squared (variance)...
