    My last night Playing BJ

Well atleast for now. Actully it is already a few weeks ago but I haven´t taken the time to write here yet. The reason I will notplay anymore blackjack is because I have now moved back to sweden where the few BJ tables i can find not only have European holecard rules, but also lose push...

    Basic Strategy trainer wrong

Actually if you play a H17 game you should double on 11vA in a 6 deckgame aswell. I think the reason it matters is becuse the dealer will bust more offen with H17.

    Casinos in Peru?

Alittle late I have already gone to Peru and come back. I don't think I ever was in golden palace but I did go to the one at the marriot hotel. Rules were pretty good and penetration aswell. The only problem was that tablegames didn't open untill 6pm. Since I was staying with some relatives...

    Home games

Yeah i don't really think it will be much of a problem. The advantage I could possibly get over them can't possibly be bigger than what they have over me when we are playing poker. I never really managed to learn how to play that properly:p . I am hoping that some form of home tournament in BJ...

    Home games

This thread brouht a moral question to my mind. I am thinking about trying to organize a home game with some friends once I get back to Europe. Don't have any casinos with playable games nearby. I would probably use 1 or 2 decks and wth good rules. We would take turns being banker and the bank...

Highest card wins. A beatable game?

well They have. Every casino has one i think( wonder why:confused: ). It is just that since my bank and creditcard is foreign I have to pay a fee every time I take out money. And since i didn't really plan to go in the first place, I was just going to stay for an hour or two so I decided it...

Highest card wins. A beatable game?

The movie I wanted to see wasn't showing at the movie so I went and took a look at this game again. Aparently the rule about not having to double your bet on ties to go to combat was only a promotion that would end that night. Since still think I should have an advantage I decided to take my...

Highest card wins. A beatable game?

I am pretty sure that I have explained the rules. But I will do it again. Let's say my bet is 10 dollar. Unless it is a tie I am either going to win 10 dollar or lose 10 dollar. In case of a tie these things can happen. 1. I ask to (surrender/push)-I have never seen anyone take this...

Highest card wins. A beatable game?

Yes I do agree. The casino would not put a game like that out. However I can not understand what is wrong with my math and i would like someone to e`plain it to me. I understand that it will be a disadvantage if I had to put extra money in to play a tie. But since I don't have to do that I...

Highest card wins. A beatable game?

I have still not gotten an explination to why this game would be disadvantagous. It is to simple to be very fun to play so I really want to know if I would be throwing my money in the drain by playing this game or if I am actually likly to make some money.

Highest card wins. A beatable game?

It is like wars. only exception is that so far i haven't seen anyone but an extra bet out. So in case of a tie with a 10 dollar bet.you can one 1. surrender/push. you lose half your bet or maybe you get to keep it. I don't know i have never seen anyone do this. 2. go to combat/war.you win...

Highest card wins. A beatable game?

yes I understand the disadvantage when you have to surrender or put an extra bet out on a tie. However if you read closely I asked what my advantage would be if I didn't have to put out the extra bet. For as long as I was watching I never saw anyone put an extra bet out and they were still...

Highest card wins. A beatable game?

It was me that said a tie occors every 14 hands(since there is a1/14 chance that the dealer will get the same card as me). You are right that I will lose half of the ties(slightly less because it don't take in the possiblityof another tie) but I will win the other half. So this should take...
