Hey everyone I am just wondering if anyone has some kind of "math test" that can help a counter speed up the true count conversion. I find I become really slow at it when it's something like an RC of 8.5 (using wong halves) and there's something like 1.5 decks remaining. I need to get better at...

Dividing is the main one, you need to divide the running count by the remaining decks for the true count. So brush up on division, and also get used to dividing fractions because sometimes you will have something like +9 with 2.5 decks remaining.

Yeah generally you will want to surrender 15, 16 vs a 10 and 16 vs a 9. I believe that at most casinos surrender is not an option after splitting, you can only surrender your starting hand.

Ok if I was to say I would be ok with a 1-10 or even 1-12 spread and a bit higher risk (3% or so) could you get a bet spread out of that? Because I don't think I can grind on low max bets of $40, I was doing that with my tiny BR before and it was a hell of a grind lol. But my max was only about $30.

Just a question, at which TC should I have my max bet out? 5 or 6? This will help me do the necessary calculations and show them to you.

In early surrender games, hard 7 is a surrender against an ace but I don't recall the count. Not that it matters to me since the only game I can play around here is a LS game.

My first day back from rebuilding my BR was a horrible one. I was back counting only with my new bet spread and figured $700 was enough to bring with me. I ended up dropping all $700 in an hour. So now I always bring at least 1k because I hate having to leave a hot shoe.
