    AC July 20th

I find Borgata is best lately, at least for green chip play. Also, this last weekend it seemed every dealer was cutting down to one deck!

    getting good pen

understand. I was agreeing with you. To pull this off you have to look like some superstitious idiot. The places that know me think I'm pretty much a superstitious and reckless gambler.

    getting good pen

Well, of course. I don't just say, "Hey, would you mind moving that cut card a little further down?"

    getting good pen

to answer your original question, I always ask for the pen I want ala Ian Anderson. sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. But it never hurts to ask.

    any $5 tables in AC?

At Borgata, instead of Wonging in, I usually start a shoe because of the crowds. It IS really hard to "Wong in" there. Of course, Wonging out is pretty easy. But, if you are only playing the $5 table you get one "Wong out" then you are pretty much done for a long while. With only one $5...

    counting strategies

I basically use hi-lo because it was the one I was taught and it works. Like the man said, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it."

    hi-lo | 6 decks

I have been very successful with hi-lo in both 6- and 8-deck shoes. My average is about 2.7 units per session. Sometimes I Wong in but usually I start at the top of a shoe and Wong out if the count goes to about -1. My sessions last anywhere from a couple of minutes (when the count goes south...

    The Carnival Valor

In the past, Carnival was the cruise line of choice for my wife and I. I think we have taken Carnival about a dozen times. Before we decided to take our last cruise we had discovered blackjack. We had heard that Carnival had only CSMs so we went on Royal Caribbean. We were not disappointed.

    Dangers of wonging?

I agree with Automatic Monkey. I play almost exclusively in AC and I have been able to watch for over a deck or two and Wong in with no adverse effects. When you are not sitting at the table (unless you are hovering over someone's shoulder, I guess) no one really pays any attention to you. Of...

    any $5 tables in AC?

Hi Captain. You're welcome. I wouldn't read too much in them keeping your card. I've seen them take mine, lay it down next to the computer or put it in their pocket, then talk to a friend forever before they finally register it. I think they are just a little more layed back than the other...

    any $5 tables in AC?

I could be wrong, but I don't think the Tropicana is offering $5 tables right now. When I was there this month I recall $10, $15 and $25 (maybe one for $100 in their HL area). I was only there for about an hour so they could have had some $5 tables at a different time of day. Also, Tropicana...

    any $5 tables in AC?

Weekdays and early AM on weekends most of the casinos have $10 tables. Borgata does have one $5 table all the time. If you go into Borgata from the self-parking garage and through the stores into the casino then turn left once you enter the casino area. Stay to the outside walkway. Once you make...

    Wheeling Island Casino Question

Thanx for the info. The trip went pretty well. I left the casino with about an extra 17 units in my pocket. I didn't notice any $5 tables or CSMs. I did see maybe 3 $15 tables, several $25 tables (some of these were NMS) and a $50 and 2 $100 tables (these 3 were NMS). The biggest downside...

My wife and I are on our way to Ohio for Easter and will be staying over night near Wheeling, WV. Does any one have any recent knowledge of the BJ conditions at Wheeling Island Casino? Thanks ahead of time.
