The fact that you would waste time playing horrible games like Morongo and San Manuel is questionable. I hope you're referring to the "old" Morongo back when they were in the other building dealing decent 6 deck games rather than the current 8 deck garbage.

Agua Caliente is waaaaaaaay better than Fantasy Springs. There's really no comparison. Better rules, more tables, nicer atmosphere and deeper penetration. Hmmmm...

When I was backed-off at MGM I stayed away for about 6 months. Haven't had a problem since. As for the other MGM properties, I stayed away for about a week or so.

Is there ever any logic as to why someone would bet a certain way? Is the house edge always the same regardless of where you place your bets? That's my understanding of how it works, but I only play blackjack so I haven't thought much about it.

If you're open to playing double deck and 6-deck, then Vegas has tons of places to play. It's also helpful to be flexible with the amount of money you'll play with. If you're only willing to play blacks, then you're limiting your options due to the large number of good games that won't take...
