Professional Blackjack by Standford Wong is the best book out there for Hi-Lo and among other concepts. If I were new to the game I would go back though and read Beat The Dealer by Thorp and Blackjack as a Business by Revere. Then read some later books suggested in the threads to get a full understanding of the game.

Professional Blackjack is THE book for Hi-Lo

I can also recommend Blackjack Blueprint by Blaine.
It takes a tutorial angle to learning Basic Strategy and Hi/Lo,
and covers other useful info.

Well i havn't actually recieved either of them yet, but they were highly reccomended and i read some reviews all which were posotive:

Blackbelt in Blackjack
Blackjack Bluebook II

They are both very newbie friendly and both feature "The Red 7 Count", which is a very good starting count to learn. Also the author of Blackbelt in Blackjack created "The Red 7 Count".

Hope this has helped.

IF you are new to counting
1. Blackjack Bluebook II
2. Blackjack Belt in Blackjack
3. Blackjack Attack

Read in that order. Pick either KISS III/Red 7/KO (must by Knock Out Blackjack)/Hi Lo (must buy Professional blackjack) count to learn first.
