AC vs CT casinos / suitable minimum

#1
I am a relative novice at BJ, but can play basic strategy and count (hi-lo) effectively. I have a $10k bank roll and am considering a 2-day trip this weekend. (I am based in NYC.) I'm hoping that the collective wisdom on this forum might be able to give some advice as to:

(1) As between the CT casinos (foxwoods, mo-sun) and AC casinos, are the AC ones hands down better, or would CT also be worth a trip at some point? As between the AC casinos, what's the take? (I have read other threads on this subject, but there is often a lot of detail and I'm not sure of the big picture, e.g. whether there are certain ones I should be ruling out, others that I should definitely consider, etc.)

(2) Given my bank roll, what is an appropriate minimum bet and bet spread?

Thanks in advance.

Agreed, but be wary of "Checks Play" and "Black Action" calls that will draw undue attention.

Do they make these calls for everyone or just when under suspicion? Some dealers make these calls all the time, some don't, and then some do randomly.. I can't figure it out..
